New Facility
objective & goals
The new space will allow Hope House to build the capacity of the treatment services offered in our Recovery Home. In addition, we will be able to create new program initiatives, such as computer and job training. Expanding our programming and services, in addition to consolidating our current resources, will allow us to be a more efficient organization in order to serve even more individuals in need. It will also provide our clients with more opportunities, such as increased access to technology, as they begin on their road to recovery. Our space will also allow us to partner with additional agencies in order for Hope House to provide in-house and external resources to our clients. Our new facility will allow Hope House to supply, for the first time, a source of affordable housing. There is a considerable lack of affordable housing in Boston and we are pleased that our agency’s Graduate Home will provide a much-needed way to offer continued support to individuals in recovery.
Specifically, our project addresses 3 immediate goals for Hope House:
- To create twenty-two new affordable housing units, increasing Boston's scarce supply.
- To expand our programming and services and add new ways of addressing the economic self-sufficiency of our clients.
- To provide a more efficient operation by consolidating our staff and resources.
